ITL HONOURED WITH QUEEN’S AWARD FOR HUGE RISE IN OVERSEAS SALES

International Transmissions Ltd was presented on 29th November with its first ever Queen’s Award for Enterprise to mark an impressive growth in overseas sales.

HM Lord Lieutenant of Clwyd, Trefor Jones, toured the JCB Transmissions factory in Wrexham before presenting the Award to JCB Group Manufacturing Director Alan Blake, watched by employees from ITL and JCB Transmissions.

ITL sells transmissions, axles and engine components built by JCB Transmissions to third party customers. Between 2003 and 2005, the 14 employees of ITL increased overseas sales by 134 per cent.

Alan Blake said: “This Award is not only a huge honour for ITL, but also a great endorsement of the quality of the products manufactured by JCB Transmissions.”
