APRIL 2007 - ITL COMPONENTS SALES TEAM LANDS HONOUR FOR RAPID GROWTH

ITL Transmissions has been honoured with it's first ever Queen’s Award for Enterprise after overseas sales more than doubled inside two years.

International Transmissions Ltd, which sells transmission components to customers, is celebrating after receiving the award in the International Trade category. It follows the rapid growth of overseas sales for the business unit as a whole. Between December, 2003, and December, 2005, overseas sales rose by a huge 134 per cent.

ITL, based in Abenbury Road, Wrexham, sells transmissions components including gearboxes and axles and distributes the parts for use in machines world wide.

International Transmissions Ltd customises and sells these component parts to OEM third parties. Following consultation, a pre-assembled package of components is developed and sold either as an integrated driveline, powertrain or as individual axles and gearbox along with an engine and ancillary parts.
