ITL announce launch of soft engage diff lock The third new product launch for ConExpo 2002 was the ITL soft engaged differential lock. ITL rigid and steer drive 70 series axle products with a dynamic loading of upto 8 tonnes can now be specified with the benefits of a soft engaged differential lock, providing a 100% differential lock up. The addition of a soft engaged, full differential lock complements the Maxtrac, partial self locking differential and limited slip differential options, currently available from ITL. The soft engaged differential lock allows maximum tractive effort to be applied to the wheels in poor surface conditions and can be engaged on the move.
